Lakewood, NJ – March 2, 2012 – Component Hardware Group, Lakewood, NJ, and JHL Enterprises, two leading manufacturers of plumbing and hardware products, today announced plans that they have signed a definitive agreement to merge.
On display at the Component Hardware Booth (5887), the L82 Series LED Hood Light is ideal for use in commercial cooking hood applications. Supplied with a prismatic tempered glass lens and two 22W LED lamps, it has the highest lumens per watt in the industry, and at only 4.5 inches high, the fixture is also well-suited for limited overhead clearance applications.

The light features a steel housing with white baked enamel finish and a satin stainless steel face frame to match the interior of the cooking hood. Currently, the light is offered in a 4-foot length; however, 2-foot and 3-foot models are in development.

“A revolutionary solution for high temperature, eco-friendly lighting in commercial cooking hoods, the new recessed L82 Series LED Hood Light is the first of its kind,” said Kevin Tumpey, Marketing Product Manager of Component Hardware. “Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, it offers an energy efficient alternative to traditional incandescent and fluorescent hood lights.”

Component Hardware and Flame Gard are dedicated to producing environmentally friendly products that conserve water, improve hygiene or reduce energy consumption while maintaining our high performance standards. The two 22W LED lamps in the L82 Series Hood Light will save up to 30 percent over standard T8 fluorescent lamps, while providing a total light output of 4,000 lumens. These fixtures are UL and NSF listed for use in commercial cooking hoods and meets all of the requirements for NFPA 96 and NEC 410.
